Thursday the 12 August saw the first meeting of Roberts TI 24 lodge of Mark Master Masons. It was their first meeting in almost 18 months. An installation of the new Worshipful Master. by the current WM WBro Edward Aston who performed an exemplary ceremony to install WM WBro George Harry Scaife into the chair of Adoniram.
The lodge opened up at 6:40 pm & the brethren welcomed the APGM WBro Gerald Howard Young & WBro Steve Lord Chain bearer of the year. The proceedings of the evening were carried in a fine manner & the new WM was now installed along with his new team. 21 brethren were in attendance and 18 brethren stopped for the social board which was most enjoyable. Like most brethren, it did seem strange being back in the lodge after this long break away. The APGM did thank all the members for their warm welcome and wished them well for the future. The raffle raised the amount of £ 128 for good causes. Very pleasant evening indeed.
