MARK MASTER MASONS DONATE £5000 TO SPRINGHILL HOSPICE ROCHDALE
The £5000 donation, which is part of a Major Capital Grant of £1.25m to over 250 hospices in England, Wales, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, recognises the contribution made by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh to the service of the Crown and the life of the nation.
Mark Benevolent Fund donation to East Lancashire Hospice
On behalf of the Mark Benevolent Fund, VWBro David H Thompson, PGJO, APGM, along with Bro Alan Dunnicliff, the Worshipful Master of Priory Lodge No 403, presented a cheque for £7000 to Graham Parr who is the Chairman of the Trustees to East Lancashire Hospice.
The Mark Benevolent Fund 2021 Festival has only 20 months to run, but the Mark Masons of George Farnworth Nuttall Lodge 1405 still have their eye on the ball. Following the sell-out of next Saturdays Manchester Ship Canal Cruise, this morning WBro T.Stewart Mills announced another event to raise funds for the East Lancs Mark 2021 Festival.
Stewarts sponsored Bungee Jump from Manchester’s tallest building will take place as soon as clearance has been obtained from the Local Authority.
Yesterday saw the meeting of Peace Lodge of MMMs No 681 at Uppermill Masonic Hall, where some 60 Brethren from West Yorkshire and East Lancashire Provinces got together to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of that Lodge.
