Different meeting for Pendle Mark

The 11th of August 2021, Pendle Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 695 was one of the first Mark Lodges to reopen their doors. Pendle Lodge in Padiham held their first meeting in over 18 months. With 16 brethren in attendance. Sadly due to a bereavement in the WM family, the lodge was unable to carry out the installation.

But they soldiered on by holding a full dress rehearsal and the lodge held a poignant open/close of the lodge in a very fine manner
VW Bro Graham Mangham delivered a short paper on the history of the early Mark tracing board. At the social board, the brethren enjoyed an original Lancashire pie/peas supper followed by a selection of cakes. A very different meeting to that planned, but a very pleasant evening was had by us all.
