A message from our APGM Gerry Young,

Brethren, I am pleased to confirm that the first copies of our Provincial Souvenir Festival Calendar for 2021 are now in stock and you are invited to place a priority order before the Calendars go on sale countrywide in June.

These wall hanging calendars feature twelve contrasting prints of iconic sights in East Lancashire – commencing with the beauty of Pendle Hill in January (see below) and ending with Manchester’s colourful Christmas Market in December (see page 2 for February to December pictures).

The 12 original watercolours were painted by Annette over the past four years especially for this calendar without cost to the Province and have been printed by Rap Spiderweb of Hollinwood.

We are most grateful for a generous donation from a member of Manchester Keystone Mark Lodge No. 745 for printing costs.

Our Festival Chairman, John Smith, recently encouraged us not to forget our endeavours to produce an East Lancashire Mark Province contribution to the 2021 MBF Festival of which we can all be proud. Here is an opportunity to continue your support when most other fundraising efforts have been frustrated by the Covid 19 Pandemic. I ask you, therefore, to please support our 2021 Mark Festival by purchasing a calendar for yourself and perhaps several more to send to friends and family at Christmas. If you have opportunities to sell others to friends who are not Mark Masons, please let me know how many copies you require.
