First post lockdown advancement

Mossley Mark Lodge No 1381 held their first post lockdown advancement meeting on Monday, 10th January. Ably assisted by brethren of Semper Paratus Lodge of Instruction No 852.

In total 25 brethren were in attendance. The lodge was opened at 11:35 by WBro Paul Holt, IPM. The advancement ceremony of Bro Gregory Brett was conducted in fine style by various brethren. The proceedings of the meeting ended by 1:25 pm.

Onto the dining room were 17 brethren sat down to a hearty 3-course meal. All in all, it was a most enjoyable daytime meeting at Mossley Mark Lodge

    I think these first few ceremonies as we get back to Mark Masonry will be remembered fondly. It’s been quite a while since anyone performed any ritual to any degree. Personally, I’m looking forward to delivering an advancement ceremony at Wycoller Mark in February. I’m sure it will be enjoyed as much as the guys did at Mossley 1381.

    What a great day, always good to get a candidate. But equally great to have some fantastic support from the lodge of instruction. WB Mangham put our candidate at ease and the rest of the team did a fantastic job. Special thanks must also go to V WBro Eddie Barton for his role in the proceeding.
