My first visit to Wycoller Mark Lodge No 1582 at Colne was on Wednesday, 17th August and it was their installation meeting where everybody was made most welcome by the members.
The Lodge opened at 6:32 by the WM Bro Frank Bailey, PastProvGCharStwd, who welcomed the 16 members and 6 visitors who were in attendance. Representing the Provincial Grand Master was VWBro Graham Mangham, PGJO.
The installation of Bro Ian Salthouse was carried out by the installing WM, Bro. Frank Bailey in a most appropriate manner. He delivered the full installation meeting. It was indeed a rare occasion to witness a full ceremony carried out by an installing Master.
The newly installed Worshipful Master then proceeded to appoint and invest his team for the 2022/23 season. The meeting was closed at 8:25 and we then proceeded down to the dining room where we had a lovely 4-course meal.
VWBro Graham Mangham gave a fitting talk about the Province and the future of using social media to communicate to all brethren. All in all it was a most pleasant meeting.
