Well, what a fabulous evening was had by all at Rochdale Football Club last night – all in aid of the Mark 2021 Festival!

Entertainment was by the versatile Alan Becks who opened with tunes by Rat Pack favourites (useless fact: it was actress Angie Dickinson who originally said to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr. – you lot look like a pack of rats !).

After a short break, Alan “morphed” into Buddy Holly and treated us to a medley of the great man’s hits – which finally got the assembled throng on their feet dancing –

Following the raffle draw which MC Tony Davies APGM ensured ran smoothly (although it turns out he’s partly colour blind “it’s a yellow…or blue ticket” !), the final section of the evening was a medley of Rock ‘N Roll classics which got everyone up on the floor dancing the rest of the night away.

Full marks to Dennis Schiff for organising, Tony Davies for Comparing, Graham & Ann Rawlinson for hosting and Alan Becks for performing in an evening enjoyed by all!
