On Tuesday the 11th November the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Alex McLaren, P.G.J.O. was delighted to attend the Installation Meeting of Lancastrians Mark Lodge at Bridge St.

It was particularly pleasing for the Deputy as the WM was WBro Jim Sutciffe and the Master Elect, Bro John Slater; both well known to the Deputy as were many members of the Lodge.

The Ceremony was conducted in a most efficient manner by WBro Sutcliffe, very ably assisted by his IPM, WBro James Liptrot and indeed several other Brethren of the Lodge. Throughout the meeting WBro Malcolm McCarthy, the guest organist delighted us with his music.

The Deputy then had a most interesting duty to perform. To present a Grand Lodge Certificate to WBro the Revd. Donald Pryce.  For a number of reasons this presentation had never taken place and WBro Pryce was the WM of the Lodge in 2011!  The Deputy commented that he doubted if he would ever be invited to perform such a duty again.

The WM then proceeded to Propose two candidates and as Lancastrians only meets twice a year it will be a busy year for all the Brethren.

A most happy and enjoyable Festive Board was had by all present.
