On Tuesday 2nd September the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W Bro Alex McLaren, RAMGR, visited Lathom RAM at Bury Masonic Hall. The main item on the Summons was the Elevation of Bro Peter Kay, not the famous Bolton comedian, I add quickly.

The WC, Bro Stewart Mills was abroad on business, so the chair was occupied by W Bro John Tiler, RAMGR and he delivered an impeccable ceremony, well supported by all the Officers of the Lodge.

The Festive Board was a most enjoyable affair and a Raffle raised a significant amount for Lodge Funds.
