The Mark Masonic Golf Day was held at Denton Golf on Thursday 3rd September, where competitors from all four corners of the Province competed for the Leslie F Hiles Trophy.

 

The weather was kind to us on the day, and the course was in excellent condition despite the heavy rain in the days leading up to the event. The Winner of the 1st Prize was Fred Blackburn,

2nd was Steve White who for the second year running was the winner of the Trophy as the highest placed East Lancs Mark Mason

and 3rd Place and nearest the pin winner was Bob Lowe.

The competitors were joined in the evening by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master – Alexander Sillars McLaren and other supporting diners who helped raise £335 for Masonic Charities as well as enjoying an excellent evening of Mark Masonic Fellowship.”
