The East Lancashire Provincial Grand Officers Lodge of Mark Masters No 990 held their half-yearly meeting at Manchester Masonic Hall on Tuesday 26 April. It was a great turnout for this very prestigious lodge. In attendance was RWBro John Hartley Smith along with the three executives. The Worshipful Master in the chair was WBro David J Rainsbury PGJD who conducted this evening’s proceedings in a fitting manner. The next item was to elect WBro George H Scaife as the master elect for 2022/3 The Provincial Grand Master gave a very informative talk about the history of this fine 990 Lodge which was formed in 1943. The business of the evening being ended we then retired to the dining room and enjoyed a splendid three-course meal. The atmosphere was buzzing and a great evening was had by us all.
