On Wednesday, 3rd March, W.Bro. John Audain was installed as WM of Priory Mark Lodge No. 693. Amongst the 35 attendees was a Provincial delegation including Deputy Provincial Grand Master, John Smith, the Provincial Senior and Junior Wardens, Mark Davis and John Rimmer along with Andrew Greenhalgh, Prov.G.S.O., Gerry Young, Prov.G.Treas., G.Stwd.,Paul Liles, Prov.G.J.D. Stephen Boyle, Prov.G.Stwd. all under the supervision of Stephen Lawler, P.Prov.J.G.W., Prov.A.G.D.C.

The meeting commenced at 5.45 in the beautiful Lodge room at Whalley Masonic Hall.

Prior to the commencement of the Installation, the Lodge very generously handed the Deputy PGM cheques of £500 for the 2021 Festival, £100 for ELMBF and £75 to assist in defraying the cost of the Provincial Meeting.

The Installing Master, W.Bro. Peter Hegarty, Prov.G.J.W. (W.Lancs) then proceeded to install John in a very proficient manner to the delight of all in attendance.

Following the meeting, all retired to Whalley Golf Club where an excellent Meal was efficiently served by the staff of this warm and homely venue.

A ‘swindle’ raffle raised a very creditable £150 and everyone was on their way home shortly after 9.30.
