The planning for the Provincial Meeting at King Georges Hall, Blackburn on the 27th May has been under way since last August.
The Secretariat have been looking at all the individual items and organisation involved in holding the Provincial Meeting
and how we are able to best utilise the facilities at the new venue to give our members and guests from other Provinces the usual high standards that they have come to expect.
We have made two on site visits, accompanied on the latest by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master and the Provincial Director of Ceremonies, meeting with the staff who run the Events and Catering and looking at the seating in the Hall itself and the changing arrangements for those attending the Meeting.
The Chef was also present and he was very helpful, we discussed our menus from previous meetings at Bolton and he provided suggestions for a selection of starters and Hot Meal choices and Vegetarian options for the menu.
After much discussion the Menu will be;
Smoked Haddock Fishcake on a bed of Wild Rocket
Roast Sirloin of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding
In a rich Roast Beef Gravy
Seasonal Vegetables and Roast Potatoes
Lemon Panna Cotta with Fruit Compote
Tea and Coffee
The cost for the meal will be £22 and the dining room will be set out with round tables seating 8 which will provide plenty of elbow room.
Every member of the Province will receive a personal Invitation by post at the beginning of April but if you want to confirm your attendance and book your meal in advance you can download the Attendance and Dining Application form by following this link and complete and return it to the Provincial Office.
