The first “daylight” meeting of Ardwick Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No. 1222 was held on Wednesday 30th October 2019 at Stanley House Audenshaw. A total of 12 Mariners attended including the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VWBro John Smith, supported by both APGMs, WBro Gerry Young and VWBro David Thompson all of whom were made to feel very welcome.
The meeting featured a fascinating review of the 54-year history of the Lodge given by Lodge Scribe, W.Bro. Barrie Billinge. This was well-received by all present.
W.Bro. Edward W Hale was welcomed as the first joining member of the Lodge in its new format, bringing Lodge membership up to 16.
Ardwick RAM members are keen to speak to any Mark Master Masons who wish to join this beautiful and interesting degree or to existing Royal Ark Mariners who may find daytime meetings attractive.

The Lodge will meet on 5th Wednesday of October, November or December and the 5th Wednesday of January, February, March or April at 11.00 followed by lunch. The Installation Meeting is held on the 3rd Monday in May. Next meeting will be held at Stanley House on 29th January 2020″
