Storms ahead but it didn’t stop Manchester Engineers Mark Lodge No 1059 installation meeting from getting underway on Thursday 17th February at Manchester Hall.
33 brethren were in attendance to witness a superb installation of WBro Steven Boyle, PAGSwdB, carried out by VWBro David H Thompson, PGJO, APGM, along with other members of this prestigious Lodge.
WBro Ian Casson, PProvGJW, explained the Keystone Collarette in a fine manner. All the newly elected officers were invested with their respective offices. A princely sum of money was donated to the E L M B F by the Charity Steward and it was received by VWBro David H Thompson who thanked the Lodge for their very generous donation.
Onto the social board were 31 brethren sat down to a fine dining 5-course meal where the atmosphere in the room was electric with everybody in fine spirits. Hats off to the DC, John Cavanagh who was on top form.
