Ties etc – an update.

GJEIt’s now almost 9 months since we started selling unwanted Craft 2015 Festival Ties, Bow-ties, Jewels and Hankies in order to raise funds for the Mark 2021 Festival.

When this started, I thought we might raise a couple of hundred quid – how wrong was I ! Thanks to your ongoing donations of merchandise Brethren, we have now sold over 350 items and I’m extremely pleased to report that we have now raised in excess of £1500 !

180 Ties and Bow-ties have been sold, along with 100 Hankies, 10 Festival Jewels, 60 Mark Centenary Jewels and Tokens to buyers in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Abroad, buyers in Aruba (Caribbean), Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain and the USA are now proudly sporting your unwanted items !

I am still receiving donations of merchandise and particular thanks go to recent ones from the Masonic Halls in Bury, Middleton, Salford and Mossley -who have also donated unwanted regalia.

Brethren, if you still have (or can obtain) any unwanted Craft 2015 Festival items or indeed any unwanted regalia for any degree or order, regardless of condition it will gratefully received.

Items can be sent to me at the Mark Provincial Office, Hemsley House, 41 Crescent, Salford M5 4PE – alternatively ring/email me – 07940 879476/provagsec2@eastlancsmark.org so we can arrange collection.

I shall also be at Blackburn on 25 May for the Provincial Meeting if anyone wants to bring anything along.

Thank you all so much for your efforts Brethren !

WBro Garry Errock PPGMO
Assistant Provincial Grand Secretary.

For sheer chutzpah you are raised above all.
A remarkable sum being raised from a remarkable idea.
    Congratulations!
