On a wet and windy night in Accrington, Adoniram Mark Lodge met for their Installation.
Unfortunately, the Master Elect, Bro Allan Williams has been diagnosed with a serious problem and was unable to take the chair. The brethren of Adoniram and indeed, all the Province wish him well for a speedy return to good health.
The Lodge opened at 6.15 pm with 19 brethren present. The current WM, WBro Keith Proctor was proclaimed as WM for the ensuing year following which, the Officers of the Lodge were invested in due form.
VWBro Peter Hargreaves, PGJO represented the RWProvGM on this occasion and he thanked the brethren for the warmth of their welcome and wished all a happy year ahead.
Only 13 brethren remained for the Social Board which was a most convivial occasion with the Lodge brethren acting as stewards in the old fashioned sense of the word. A raffle followed and raised a creditable sum of £100.
A very enjoyable evening was had by all.
